WHO IS HYLA AND WHY THE FUNNY NAME…
The Executive Producer and Hollywood correspondent of 5DP is Hyla. His career in the business started back in 1998 and spans across multiple media platforms including TV, radio, print and the Internet. Hyla has produced and hosted local and national radio shows in Los Angeles, Atlanta, Charlotte and Orlando. He was the Executive Producer and Co-Host of the “Yo on E!” show seen daily on the E! Entertainment network and heard on both XM and Sirius. Not only does he live amongst them but Hyla has interviewed some of the biggest celebs in Hollywood from Matthew McConaughey to Angelina Jolie (He’s not afraid to name drop) and every reality star in between. He’s been featured as a pop culture expert on ABC’s Good Morning America, CNN, Fox News, Chelsea Lately, E! News and The Daily 10. Hyla grew up in a house with his two sisters and mother, so he’s not exactly a man’s man. Now he gets all his ideas from listening to his two female friends and girlfriend who sit around all day obsessing over vampires and 7 jeans.
